Doris Breuer
Doris Breuer is an Austrian artist (*1974). Doris Breuer lives with family and friends on the Reitersederhof, an old farmhouse in the middle of the beautiful, rural countryside in the Mühlviertel region of Upper Austria.
She traveled the world from 1992 to 2002, gathering impressions and inspiration for her art, which she has been processing since 2002 in paintings and numerous free-form objects combined with felt art, among other things. The works have been presented in performances and exhibitions since 2005.
Doris Breuer's paintings are characterized by a realistic style. The emphasis is on socially relevant themes with a focus on femininity. The women depicted undergo a process of further development and are portrayed by the artist at different stages of consciousness. The potential and awareness of the women expands and brings them into their true identity and strength.
