Non-Accessible Content
The following content is known to us and is not fully accessible for the reasons outlined below:
- Due to the large number of images on our website, it has unfortunately not yet been possible to provide individual and comprehensive alternative texts for all images. We are aware of the importance of accessible content and are continuously working to add image descriptions as quickly as possible.
- Some of the videos embedded on the website – particularly older productions – currently do not have complete subtitles or audio descriptions. These contents were created before the implementation of current accessibility standards. For new productions, accessible design (e.g., through subtitles and visually supported language) is consistently ensured.
- Certain areas of our website are currently only partially usable with screen readers. In some cases, information, structures, or relationships that are visually clear cannot be programmatically recognized or are not additionally available in text form. Furthermore, in some sections, the order of content relevant to understanding is only visually apparent but not clearly structured in the underlying code. We are aware of these limitations and are working to technically adapt these contents so that they will be fully perceivable and understandable for users with assistive technologies in the future.
- The integrated “Point Map” used to localize specific hotel areas is currently not accessible. Due to its complex technical implementation and dynamic presentation of information, providing an accessible alternative at this time would require a disproportionate amount of effort. We are nevertheless striving for a more user-friendly solution and are happy to offer individual assistance for orientation within the hotel.
- The website also contains documents and content from third parties that were neither developed, funded, nor controlled by us. We cannot make any statements regarding the compliance of these third-party contents with accessibility requirements.
- This particularly applies to the online booking tool, which is based on an external system. A fully accessible implementation of these functions would involve significant technical and organizational effort and is currently not feasible. To nevertheless enable accessible booking or inquiries, our reception team is always available to assist you personally. Please contact us by phone at +43 5444 5411 or by email at info@elizabeth.at.
